WALNUT CREEK, Calif.—The Arizona State women’s golf team places all five players in its line-up on the Pac-12 All-Academic Team, the Conference announced today. For the second-straight year, junior Daniela Ordonez leads all golfers for the highest GPA in the conference with a 3.88 in business with a concentration on sustainability. The Sun Devils also placed the most golfers on the team with no other Pac-12 team matching five players.
Ordonez was named to the All-Pac-12 first team for the second-consecutive season. Also joining Ordonez on the first team, sophomore Noemi Jimenez earned a 3.75 GPA in interdisciplinary studies. Last month, Jimenez earned first-team Pac-12 honors and was recently named a second-team All-American.
Sophomore Emilie Alonso and juniors Laura Blanco and Justine Lee were named All-Pac-12 honorable mention selections. The group of five golfers helped the Sun Devils to their highest finish at the NCAA Championships since 2010 with a 5th place finish overall.
