NEW YORK--Coming off of its first opening-season tournament victory since 2009, the Arizona State women's golf moved ahead to No. 3 in the latest Golf World/WGCA Division I Coaches Poll.

The Sun Devils, who received four first-place votes, won the team title at the third-annual Dale McNamara Invitational hosted by the University of Tulsa. The victory had an extra special meaning for head coach Melissa Luellen, as the tournament is named for her mother and Hall of Fame Tulsa golf coach Dale McNamara.

The Sun Devils return to competition as the top-ranked team in the Pac-12 at the Stanford Intercollegiate, Oct. 19-21, in Palo Alto, Calif.
