TEMPE, Ariz. - Four Sun Devil baseball student-athletes were named Louisville Slugger All-Americans today by Collegiate Baseball, led by First Team selection sophomore second baseman Zack MacPhee. Junior righty Seth Blair earned Second Team honors, while sophomore closer Jordan Swagerty and sophomore first baseman Riccio Torrez each were named to the Third Team.

MacPhee (Phoenix, Ariz.) is hitting .381 with eight home runs and a team-leading 59 runs batted in. He has also tripled 14 times, setting a new school record. The previous record of 13 was set by 2010 College Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee Alan Bannister in 1971. MacPhee is slugging a team leading .683, has drawn 39 walks and also stolen 18 bases. He was also named a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award.

Blair (Rock Falls, Ill.) is 11-0 for the Devils this season, with a 3.20 ERA and 90 strike outs in 90 innings.

Swagerty (Sachse, Texas) has established a new single season school record with his 14 saves this season. He was named a finalist for the Stopper of the Year Award earlier this week.

Torrez (Phoenix, Ariz.) is the Pac-10's leading hitter with his .391 average. He also has nine homers and 50 RBI to go along with his 16 stolen bases.
