TEMPE, Ariz. - Sophomore C/DH Kiel Roling has been named a College Baseball Foundation National Honor Roll Player of the Week. It is the sixth time this year a Sun Devil has been honored, and the second time for Roling. Matt Spencer, Petey Paramore, Brian Flores and Brett Wallace have also earned the weekly award.

The Grand Junction, Colo. product helped lead the Sun Devils to a weekend sweep of the Stanford Cardinal, thanks to his 6-15 (.462) weekend. He went 4-4 on Thursday night, then followed that up with a 2-5 day on Saturday, including two two-run home runs. His second homer of the game cleared the stadium's outer wall, coming to rest in a parking lot across the street from the park. Roling knocked in six runs in the series and scored five times.

Roling was also honored by the College Baseball Foundation on March 20, after helping the Sun Devils to a 6-0 week with sweeps of Kansas State and Maine.

Established as a 501(c)(3) charitable educational organization, the CBF hopes to not only catalog the sports' history within its' newly announced College Baseball Hall of Fame, but to provide an aggressive and enduring advocacy for the college game. It views its primary mission as fostering an appreciation of the historical development of college baseball and its impact on our culture, and increasing public awareness, exposure and generating additional opportunities for college baseball.
