WHAT THEY ARE SAYING

"Jeff was a great competitor and is very passionate about the game -- it showed when he played." -- Former ASU pitcher Jason Urquidez

"Jeff was an outstanding competitor whenever he took the mound. I expect his competitiveness will carry over into his baseball career. He has extensive knowledge of baseball, and I expect the relationship he has with young people to be very significant in the development of a student-athlete." -- Ryan Roberts, BYU assistant coach

"Jeff was always the consummate pitcher. He had a great feel for what kind of pitcher he was and how to maximize that to the fullest in order to achieve success for himself and his team. Although I never had the pleasure of coaching him, I'm sure that he will have success in his baseball career." -- Jim Schlossnagle, head coach, TCU
