TEMPE, Ariz. - The No. 28 Arizona State Sun Devils (7-2; Pac-12 0-0) women's tennis team will host the University of Nevada and the University of San Diego for a weekend match-up this Saturday and Sunday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz.
"After being on the road last weekend, we're excited to be playing at home," ASU head coach Sheila McInerney said. "We've had a good week of practice so we are expecting it to translate into a good weekend of play."
Arizona State enters one of the few remaining non-conference play weekends off a 1-1 weekend just a week prior. The Sun Devils fell to No. 39 Pepperdine last Saturday, but beat UNLV the following day.
The Nevada Wolfpack enters the match with a 4-1 record, with a match against Northern Arizona the day prior to taking on the Sun Devils. San Diego will face off against the University of Arizona on Saturday before heading to Tempe, putting their 2-4 record on the line.
ASU will face off against Nevada at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning and San Diego at noon on Sunday.
