Offensive Player of the Week Nominee:
Dustin Pedroia, Fr., 3B, Woodland, Calif.
Pedroia had a great week at the plate and in the field, helping lead the Devils to a 4-0 record last week. The freshman third baseman hit .462 (6x13) with six runs scored, two doubles, his first career home run and five RBI in wins over New Mexico State, UNLV, St. John's and Oklahoma State. Pedroia was 2-for-3, including a game-ending home run in the seventh vs. UNLV (3/8). Hitting leadoff for the first time this year Sunday vs. Oklahoma State, Pedroia was 2-for-3 with his sixth double of the year. In the field, Pedroia was errorless in 13 total chances and for the year owns a .987 fielding percentage with only one error in 76 total chances. At the plate Pedroia is now hitting .301 (22x73) with 16 RBI.

Pitcher of the Week Nominee:
Robbie McClellan, Jr., RHP, Liberal, Kan.
Junior Robbie McClellan became the first Sun Devil to notch back-to-back complete games since 1999, striking out a career-high 10 batters in seven-inning win against UNLV to open the weekend. McClellan allowed only four hits and did not allow a run in ASU's 10-0 win over the Rebels. For the season McClellan is tied for the team lead in wins with a 4-2 record and has a 2.10 ERA in 30.0 innings pitched. McClellan has struck out 36 batters and walked only 14 this year.

Notes on ASU Baseball:
The Arizona State pitching staff has combined for an amazing 2.88 team ERA through the first 20 games of the year... Mike Esposito has been stellar in his last three starts, going 2-1 with a 0.95 ERA and 18 strikeouts... Esposito struck out a career-high nine batters in his start vs. St. John's... sophomore J.J. Jackson was 2-0 over the week, with wins over New Mexico State and Oklahoma State... Jackson allowed only one hit and no runs in six innings of work while striking out seven... Jackson is now 3-0 with a team-leading 1.46 ERA... ASU's current seven-game winning streak matches a season high with the Devils also starting the year 7-0... the Devils now have three complete games this year, one more than last year and most since eight in 1999... Robbie McClellan's back-to-back CG was the first for a Sun Devil since Wil Waldrip at the start of 1999 season... Pat Murphy recorded his 600th career victory at the Division 1 level Friday with 10-0 win over UNLV... sophomore 1B Jeremy West has four of his team-leading five home runs in last 10 games... ASU has now scored in 395 straight games, extending its NCAA record... ASU was held scoreless until the eighth inning vs. OSU, marking the most innings in a game in over a year it took to get ASU on the board... the seven-run eighth inning vs. Oklahoma State was the biggest run production inning of the year for the Devils... sophomore Ryan McKenna was 2-for-2 during the week with one RBI and two runs scored... senior Sergio Garcia has started the last five games and is hitting .400 (6x15) during that stretch... senior Jon Sheaffer had his 13-game hitting streak come to an end Sunday vs. Oklahoma State... since moving to the bullpen, Ryan Schroyer has recorded eight strikeouts in three innings... for the year Schroyer has 33 K's in 22.3 innings... preseason All-American Rod Allen hit .353 in the three games last weekend, including a bases loaded double that helped lead the Devils to the win Sunday vs. Oklahoma State... Allen has the longest active hitting streak at seven games... after hitting its first seven home runs of the season with no runners on base, ASU has four three-run, and one two-run home run in its last five home runs... Andre Ethier hit his first career home run in the 11-1 win over St. John's.
