TEMPE, Ariz. - Sophomore first baseman Brett Wallace has been named a College Baseball Foundation National Honor Roll Player of the Week. Wallace becomes the fifth Sun Devil honored so far in 2007, joining Matt Spencer, Petey Paramore, Brian Flores and Kiel Roling.

The Sonoma, Calif. product continued to show off his batting prowess during the first weekend of Pac-10 play, going 7-12 (.583) with three home runs, five RBI, six runs scored and four walks as the Devils took two out of three at USC. Wallace, the Pac-10 leader in most offensive categories, is hitting .466 with 10 homers and 40 RBI so far this year.
