Texas Tech Red Raiders at (9-3) at #10 Arizona State Sun Devils (8-2)

The 10th-ranked Arizona State baseball team hosts the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. (MT) at Packard Stadium in Tempe, Ariz. The Sun Devils won three out of four this past weekend at the Coca-Cola College Baseball Classic Surprise, Ariz.

The game will be webcasted live from Fox Sports Arizona on The audio will come from the Sun Devil Sports Network.

The game will be broadcast live and for free on the Sun Devil Sports Network . First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m., with the broadcast starting at 6:15 p.m., and Tim Healey and Seth Dhaenens will have the call.

Tickets to games at ASU's Packard Stadium start at $8 for adults and $6 for youth (ages 16 and under) and seniors. ASU students earn free admission with their SunCard. The Sun Devils' home stadium is located on the Northeast side of campus, along Packard Dr., just east of Sun Devil Stadium and south of Loop 202.

ASU is 14-4 all-time against Texas Tech, with the teams playing twice in 2007. The Sun Devils won the first game in Tempe at the end of February, 13-5, and the Red Raiders took the second game, 7-2, in Lubbock, Texas, in the middle of April. Prior to the 2007 season, they met twice in the 2001 NCAA Regional in Fullerton. The Devils won the first game, 12-3, and the Raiders came out victorious in the second, 9-8.

The 11th-ranked baseball team won three of four at the Coca-Cola Classic in Surprise, Ariz. Junior right-hander Brady Rodgers led the way in the team's 9-1 win over St. Louis in the first game of the long weekend. Rodgers pitched a complete game, giving up no earned runs and four hits and striking out seven. ASU beat Northern Illinois 4-3 on Friday behind a pair of scoreless innings by left-hander Matt Dunbar and a walk-off single by first baseman Abe Ruiz. Shortstop Deven Marrero hit his first home run of the season in that game. The Devils jumped out to a six-run lead after the first inning of the third game and never let up, dropping Winthrop, 17-2. Eight different players recorded an RBI en route to a season-high 19 hits. Trevor Williams earned his third win of the season after giving up no earned runs on four hits with a trio of strikeouts in six innings. ASU lost to St. Mary's 4-3 in the final game of the Classic. Freshman Rouric Bridgewater recorded a pair of RBI singles in his first career start. Junior second baseman Joey DeMichele led the way offensively for the Devils, finishing the four games with 12 hits, six runs and 10 RBI. He collected five RBI in both the first and third games of the tournament.

Leading The Pac (Team):
As of March 4, the Sun Devils led the Pac-12 in four offensive categories, including batting average (.380), slugging percentage (.562), on base percentage (.461) and hits (123). They also rank second in RBI (89), runs scored (93), doubles (25), home runs (10) and total bases (182). On the mound, they are tops in the Pac-12 in ERA (1.33) , opposing bat. avg (.191) and runs allowed (10) for the second week in a row.

Welcome To Mr. Rodgers' Neighborhood:
Right-hander Brady Rodgers has allowed no earned runs and struck out 24 in 22 innings pitched. He is 3-0 in three starts and has given up 13 hits, including just three extra base hits, and walked two. His 22 consecutive scoreless innings trail Lerrin LaGrow (1969) by seven for the fifth spot on the school's consecutive scoreless innings list.

Picking Up Where He Left Off:
Junior second baseman Joey DeMichele, the 2011 Pac-10 batting champion, has continued his torrid pace at the plate. Through 10 games, he has a .545 batting average, a .939 slugging percentage, a .610 on base percentage, 18 hits, 19 RBI and 17 runs scored.

A Deep Staff:
Arizona State has used 14 pitchers through the first 10 games of the season. The Devils only used 11 all season last year. Right-handers Josh McAlister and Mark Lambson, who threw a combined 28.2 innings in 2011, have not made an appearance yet this season. Five pitchers have also made at least one start this season.

Setting The (Dun)Bar High:
Left-hander Matt Dunbar earned his first win at ASU after giving up one hit and no runs with four strikeouts in two innings in a 4-3 win over Northern Illinois at the Coca-Cola Classic in Surprise, Ariz.. He took the mound in the eighth and bookended a groundout and a double with a pair of strikeouts to escape the frame unscathed. He recorded consecutive strikeouts to begin the ninth inning before forcing a groundout. he has given up just two hits and no earned runs while striking out five in four innings pitched. Against St. Mary's, he pitched 1.2 scoreless innings and did not give up a hit while striking out two in the eighth and ninth inning.
