TEMPE- The Arizona State University men's cross country team will send a small group of student-athletes to Tucson on Friday to compete at the Dave Murray Invitational at the Dell Urich Golf Course.
The roster for Friday's competition, which will include runners from the University of Arizona and assorted community colleges, will be made up of Stephen Schneiders, Andy Cannata, Jesus Molina, Matt Estlund, Scott Albright, Josh Walker and Andrew Hagler. The men's will run a race just shy of 7,000 meters at 4.25 miles.
The rest of the men's team, along with the women's squad, will stay in town as they continue to prepare for their first big test of the weekend at next weekend's Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis. In the Sun Devils' first appearence of the season, the men won the George Kyte Classic in Flagstaff behind Darius Terry's individual title while the women took a close second.
Events Friday are set to get underway at 5 p.m. with the men's race and the women will follow at 5:45 p.m.
