ASU Baseball Practices Moves To HoHoKam Park Starting Monday

TEMPE, Ariz. -- After one week of practice at the home of Sun Devil baseball, Packard Stadium, the nationally No. 6 ranked Arizona State baseball program will conduct practice next week at HoHoKam Park in Mesa, Ariz.

The spring training home of the Chicago Cubs will get the Devils used to a new field and surroundings as they prepare for the upcoming 2001 season. ASU opens the 2001 campaign Jan. 26 with a 3 p.m. game vs. the University of Texas-Arlington. The annual Alumni game will be held Saturday, Jan. 20 at Packard Stadium at 1 p.m.

HoHoKam Park is located off Center Street in Mesa. Practice times will run in the morning daily starting around 10 a.m.
