YES, IT WAS THE FIRST TRIPLE DOUBLE IN ASU HISTORY
Junior Jordan Bachynski's13 points, 12 boards and 12 blocks marks the first triple-double in Sun Devil history. He set the school record today with 12, topping his own school mark of nine set in the season opener on Nov. 10 vs. Central Arkansas.
It marked the first triple-double by a Pac-12 player since Daniel Hackett had with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists vs. South Carolina on Nov. 17, 2007.
The 12 blocks by Jordan Bachynski is tied for the second-most by a Pac-10/12 player along with Stanford's Brook Lopez, who had a dozen vs. USC on Jan. 25, 2007. The record is 14 by Arizona's Loren Woods set vs. Oregon on Feb. 3, 2000.

ASU is 8-1 for just the fourth time in 38 seasons. Only the 2008-09 (12-1), 2004-05 (11-1) and 1990-91 (9-1) teams went at least 8-1 since ASU started 15-1 in 1974-75, when current Memphis Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins was on his way to averaging 16.7 points per game and ASU was trending towards a 25-4 record.
THREE-DOT DEVIL DATA
ASU again used the same starting lineup of Jahii Carson, Evan Gordon, Carrick Felix, Jonathan Gilling and Jordan Bachynski. It has not changed a starting lineup yet this year through nine games. Last year it used 12 starting lineups, the most since the 200-04 squad also used a dozen...the win was Coach Sendek's 77th in the state of Arizona. He has 152 wins in North Carolina...ASU is now 52-8 (.867) under Herb Sendekwhen it shoots 50 percent from the field...a year after going 7-10 at home, ASU is 7-0 at home.
ANOTHER 20-POINT GAME FOR JAHII
Freshman Jahii Carsonposted another 20-point game, his fifth on the season. He is now averaging 18.6 points per game and has 49 assists and is 56-of-77 (.727) from the free throw line on the year.
Senior Carrick Felixis averaging 18.5 points and 7.3 rebounds and is shooting 42-of-63 (.667) from the field and 11-of-23 (.478) from the three-point stripe in the past six games. A reporter asked Carrick after the game if he had remembered ever having no turnovers in a game, so we looked it up.
