Trio Of Sun Devils Earn Midseason All-America Honors From Baseball America

TEMPE, Ariz. (www.TheSunDevils.com) -- Arizona State's Colin Curtis, Travis Buck and Dustin Pedroia were all named to their respective classes midseason All-America teams by Baseball America.

Pedroia, a junior shortstop from Woodland, Calif., was named the top player in the junior class. Pedroia leads the Sun Devils (22-10) hitting .406 (54-for-133) with 17 doubles, five home runs and 29 RBI.

Buck, a sophomore outfielder from Richland, Wash., leads the Pac-10 with 40 RBI and is hitting .357 (41-for-115) with 35 runs, 11 doubles, seven home runs and a .635 slugging percentage. He is also 6-for-6 stealing bases and leads the team with four outfield assists.

Curtis, a freshman outfielder from Issaquah, Wash., has cooled off as of late after starting collegiate career on a tear. He has started all 32 games in center field and is hitting .308 (33-for-107) with seven doubles, four home runs and 21 RBI.
