ASU Cross Country Travels to Seattle

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State competes in its second cross country meet of the young season this Saturday in Seattle, Wash., at the Sundodger Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington. ASU will join a large field of top flight NCAA, NAIA and club competitors.

Included in the field on the women's side are nationally-ranked Michigan (5th) and the 15th-ranked Huskies. The lone ranked team in the men's field is No. 21 Washington. Among the other NCAA Division I teams scheduled to compete are Eastern Washington, Idaho and Utah.

ASU, whose women finished fifth and men third at its only other meet of the season (California Irvine Invitational), will be represented by 10 freshmen, five sophomores and one senior at the meet. Eight men and eight women will compete for the Sun Devils.
