WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--Nine Sun Devil football players received All-Pac-12 honors in a vote of the league's coaches, the conference announced today, led by three Second Team selections.
Junior Jamal Miles earned Second Team All-Pac-12 Conference honors as a return specialist for the Sun Devils. Miles (Peoria, Ariz.), the only player in the nation to have scored a touchdown reception, a touchdown on a kickoff return and punt return and to throw a touchdown pass, racked up 1,020 return yards for the Sun Devils. On the season, Miles returned two kickoffs and one punt return for touchdowns.
Seniors Garth Gerhart and Clint Floyd also earned Second Team All-Pac-12 honors. Gerhart (Norco, Calif.), as the starting center for the Sun Devils has been the anchor of the offensive line, starting a total of 38 games in his career for ASU. Floyd (Los Angeles, Calif.), a safety for ASU, led the Sun Devils in total takeaways, forcing two fumbles and intercepting three passes. Floyd is also fourth on the team in total tackles with 62.
Earning honorable mention Pac-12 honors were junior defensive end Jamaar Jarrett (San Marcos, Calif.), senior offensive lineman Dan Knapp (Reno, Nev.), junior running back Cameron Marshall (San Jose, Calif.), senior defensive tackle Bo Moos (Eugene, Ore.), senior linebacker Colin Parker (Chandler, Ariz.) and senior wide receiver Gerell Robinson (Phoenix, Ariz.).
