Women's cross country runner Kari Hardt has been named ASU's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 21st. Her spectacular performance at the NCAA West Region Championships helped the Sun Devils place fourth overall. Hardt, earned all-region honors as she finished 16th overall with a time of 21:22.55. Hardt has continued her excellent campaign thus far, receiving her third Athlete of the Week award this season.
Hardt, was once again the top finisher for the Sun Devil women at the NCAA West Region Championships in Springfield, Ore. On Saturday, she placed 16th overall to earn all-region honors. With her finish, Hardt led three of her teammates across the finish line for Top 25 placements that helped ASU place fourth overall and earn a berth into the NCAA Championships (Monday, November 23) for the 12th year in a row, the eighth-longest streak in NCAA women's cross country history and the third-longest active streak.
