The Sun Devil trio will be vying for a spot on the U.S. team that will compete at the 2002 IAAF World Cross Country Championships, March 23-24, in Dublin, Ireland. The top six finishers in the junior and senior races qualify for the U.S. team.

Lyon (Phoenix, Ariz./Desert Vista HS) will compete in the Junior Women's 6K race scheduled for 10:45 a.m. PST, Saturday, Feb. 9. Cahill (Glendale, Ariz./Mountain Ridge HS) and Duke (Clovis, Calif./Clovis HS) are slated for the Junior Men's 8K race held Sunday, Feb. 10, at 10 a.m. PST.
