SUN DEVIL DATA: Ran into bad luck last season as he had to have microfracture surgery on his left knee on Dec. 19 that sidelined him for the remainder of the year. He played in the first seven games (started in two) and averaged 15.7 minutes before his injury. On track to get his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in education and theatre this season. Posted a career-high 14 points against Alcorn State on Nov. 26 and had 10 points and nine boards in the overtime loss to Minnesota on Dec. 5. His injury left the Sun Devils with just one senior on last year's roster. Morill is the strongest player on the team who has played in 57 games in three-year career (second on team) and started in 10 contests. Sat his initial season of 2002-2003 to concentrate on academics but showed everyone what he was capable of in practice, going head-to-head with future lottery pick Ike Diogu daily. Possesses a good jump shot from about 15 feet and is a good passer. Last name is pronounced More-ell. Arrived in the summer of 2002 along with fellow newcomers Ike Diogu and Serge Angounou.
