Was the 2008 Arizona Amateur Champion and made the cut for the U.S. Open Qualifying Tournament by shooting a 68...competed in the 2009 Arizona Amateur Championship, shooting a 66 and 68 before falling out in the quarterfinals.

Has appeared in 15 tournaments in three-year career entering 2012-13 seson...tied for 27th at the 2011 Bill Cullum Invitationa, where ASU tied for team championships honors...notched his first career top-20 finish, placing in a tie for 16th at the 2010 Topy Cup, the first tournament of the season...competed in two events for the Sun Devils in his freshman season (2009-10) and recorded a 73.30 stroke average...had his best tournament of the 2010-11 season at the 2011 ASU/Thunderbird Invitational, tying for 30th.
PREP AND JUNIOR CAREER
Won every high school match in 2007, including the Arizona High School 5A division Super Regional, shooting a 72 and 66 as well as the Arizona High School State Championship shooting a 71 and 69...set his school record for season average score per 9-holes at 34.5...also honored as both the 2007 Arizona Republic and Arizona Tribune Golfer of the Year.
