Q: How many tickets are made available to ASU students?
The student ticket allotment at Sun Devil Athletics venues is approximately 25% of seating capacity at that venue unless otherwise agreed upon by the Student Athletic Fee Operations Board. All student tickets are issued on a first come, first served basis.
Q: Who is eligible for a student ticket?
Currently enrolled ASU students (taking one (1) or more credits) & affiliated students, who pay the Athletic Fee are eligible for student tickets at all Sun Devil sporting events. Paying the Athletic Fee does not guarantee you a ticket.
Q: Does the Athletic Fee allow students access to all Sun Devil Athletics sporting events?
Yes paying the Athletic Fee covers admission (subject to ticket availability) to all SDA sporting events for any ASU or affiliated student.
Q. Does the Athletic Fee allow student access to Pac-12 Championship, NCAA Championship, non-SDA events in SDA venues and/or SDA events at non-ASU venues?
Please note: That unless otherwise designated, admission to Pac-12 Championship, NCAA championship, non-SDA events, and/or SAD events at non-ASU venues are not covered as part of the Athletic Fee.
Q: How much is the Athletic Fee?
The Athletic Fee is $75 per semester and is in addition to tuition and other fees.
Q: What if I am a student but I do not pay the Athletic Fee?
Certain categories of students, such as online students or other affiliated students who do not pay the Athletic Fee have the option to purchase a student season ticket at $150, this will load the tickets on to your Sun Card. Please call the Sun Devil Ticket Office to order your student season tickets.
These students also have the option to purchase single game tickets based on availability. Single game tickets vary in price and must be purchased in person the week of each game in person at the Sun Devil Ticket Office with valid student ID.
Q: Do Maricopa Community College Students have the ability to purchase student section tickets?
Yes, Maricopa Community College students are eligible to purchase student tickets on a single game basis only. A valid Maricopa Community College ID must be present when purchasing and picking up a wristband. Tickets are $20 each. One (1) ticket per student. Tickets must be purchased the week of each game in person at the Sun Devil Ticket Office.
Q: What if I misplace my Sun Card or it is broken or can't be read? Will I still be able to get in?
ASU students must have their Sun Card swiped in order to gain admittance into Sun Devil Athletic Events. If you misplace your Sun Card, you will need to get a new ID through the Sun Card Office. If your Sun Card is broken or can’t be read, you will need to see the student customer service table located at the wristband distribution area in Wells Fargo Arena. No other photo ID will be accepted for admission, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q: Can I transfer my ticket to another student?
No. Student tickets are non-transferrable.
Q: What happens if I give someone my Sun Card?
Students can only use their own Sun Card. Students who violate this or any other provision of the Student Code of Conduct will be referred to the Office of the Dean of Students and when necessary the ASU police department.
Q: What are my rights and responsibilities as an ASU student season ticket holder?
All students are held to the Student Code of Conduct. Those who violate these codes will be subject to ejection and could face further sanctions.

Sun Devil Football
Q: How will I receive my actual ticket to the football game?
All students are required to have their Sun Card or guest ticket for check in. Students can begin to check in at Wells Fargo Arena five (5) hours prior to kick off to receive a wristband. A ticket with a designated section, row and seat will be distributed in addition to a wristband for lower level sections, which students are designated to sit in.
The first 500 students will have access to the Igniters section that will consist of the lower 250 seats of sections 32 and 33. This section may be seated 15 minutes before Sun Devil Stadium gates open. Further instructions will be given during wristband distribution.
Q: How and where do I enter Sun Devil Stadium?
Students will need their wristband & ticket to enter the stadium. Gates open 1 ½ hour prior to kick off. The student entrance is located at the Southeast Gates.
Q: What happens if I lose my ticket?
Students will still be admitted into the stadium with their wristband. Students who lost their ticket may be subject to different seating.
Q: Will I be able to sit with my friends?
All student seating is on a first come, first serve basis. It is strongly recommended that you and your friends arrive at Wells Fargo Arena together to get the same wristband and ticket locations to ensure your seats are together in your preferred seat location.
Q: I’m coming from ASU West or Polytechnic Campus. What is the shuttle procedure?
Shuttles will be running from the West and Poly campuses. The Gameday Shuttles from the West and Poly campuses will have wristbands reserved for those students riding the Gameday Shuttles. Academic Shuttles can also be utilized, wristbands will not be reserved for students using the Academic Shuttles.
Q: Is there a section for graduate students or students with families?
Section 244 the first 100 seats will be utilized for graduate students or students with families. A separate table at Wells Fargo will distribute wristbands for this section. Students must request this section when receiving their wristband.
Q: Can I purchase guest tickets?
Yes, students can purchase guest tickets to all games. A limit of two (2) guest tickets can be purchased per game, based on availability. Guest tickets are available on a single game basis only and must be purchased the week of each game, in person at the Sun Devil Ticket Office. Guest ticket prices vary per game.
Q: How are students with disabilities accommodated at Sun Devil Stadium?
Students with disabilities will still need to check in at Wells Fargo Arena beginning five (5) hours prior to kickoff. A separate table will distribute disabled seating tickets. One (1) companion ticket will be available. The companion must have a ticket as either a student or guest and must be present with the student picking up the disabled ticket.
Students with disabilities can enter Sun Devil Stadium through Southeast Gates.
Sun Devil Stadium is designed with accessible restrooms, concessions, water fountains and seating areas in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Q: What game day events can I attend?
Devils on Mill – A student led event, ASU’s official tailgate block party, located on 6th St and Mill Ave.
Devil Walk – 2 hours prior to kickoff, come see the Sun Devil Marching Band concert in Wells Fargo Arena, with team entrance and “Devil Walk” to the stadium.
Other SDA Sports
Q: How do I gain admission to SDA sporting events other than Sun Devil Football?
Enter the venue through the student ticket line with a valid ASU Sun Card. Unless otherwise designated, gates open one hour prior to the start of SDA events (other than Football). For example, for Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball the student ticket line is located at the South Entrance to Wells Fargo Arena and opens one hour prior to tip-off.
Q: Will I be able to sit with my friends?
All student seating is on a first come, first serve basis. It is strongly recommended that you and your friends arrive at the venue together to ensure that you get to sit together.
