COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—After taking home two Pac-12 Championships for the Arizona State, the Sun Devil divers look to punch their tickets to Nationals at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships, Mar. 13-15, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Senior Riley McCormick, who won his third conference title at Pac-12 Championships, looks to round out his collegiate career with an NCAA title. McCormick, a two-time Olympian for Canada, also won a gold medal at the 2014 Canadian Winter Nationals last week, his first national championship on the springboard event.  McCormick, who specialized on platform, has had recent success on the 3-meter springboard winning the Pac-12 title and Canadian national championship in the discipline.

Finishing as the NCAA runner-up on the women’s 3-meter springboard last season, junior Hailey Casper also saw success at the 2014 Canadian Winter Nationals with her third place finish on the same event. Casper was less than two points shy of Canadian silver medalist Jennifer Abel.

Freshman Luke Clohessy made waves in his first championship event for Arizona State. After joining the Sun Devils in January, Clohessy upset the reigning conference champion from Arizona and the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist from Stanford by taking home the 2014 Pac-12 platform title by a sizable lead.

The Zone E Championships will send eight men and six women in total to the NCAA Championships. The women's swimming and diving NCAA Championships are held in Minneapolis, Minn. from Mar. 20-22, while men’s swimming and diving competes Mar. 27-29 in Austin, Texas.
