TEMPE – Arizona State University and Sun Devil Athletics proudly announces that 16 student-athletes will earn their undergraduate degrees as part of the 2011 Fall graduation class.   Those student-athletes will collect their diplomas as they take part on several ceremonies on the Tempe campus over the coming week.

Seven of those student-athletes will finish with honors, including four who will graduate Summa Cum Laude (3.80-4.00 GPA): Alexander Elston (Soccer), Cj Navarro (Track & Field), Michelle Nulliner (Softball) and Brittany Schuett (Gymnastics). 

Two others will graduate Magna Cum Laude (3.60-3.79 GPA) in Samantha Henderson (Track & Field) and Jessie Richardson (Soccer).  Richardson will also graduate with honors from Barrett, The Honors College.   Nikki Unbehaun (Water Polo) will earn Cum Laude (3.40-3.59 GPA) honors, as well.

Earlier this semester it was announced that ASU had posted an all-time high Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 79 percent, as announced by the NCAA.  This current Fall graduation class continues to show the dedication and effort on the part of the student-athletes and the administration to be not only successful on the field of play, but among the best off of it as well.
