Save the Date: Thursday, January 19 at 11 a.m. - Sun Devils vs. Buffaloes
Is your class ready to have a fun and educational experience? Treat your 4th, 5th or 6th grade class on a field trip to a Sun Devil women's basketball game. Field trip games are held during the school day and include a special educational workbook with age appropriate AIMS level lessons. The Sparky's Kids to College Field Trip for women's basketball will be Thursday, January 19 at 11 a.m. Registration is available now!
The Sparky's Kids to College program will offer some of the most unique and entertaining educational experiences in recent history. Nearly 13,000 school children from the Phoenix Metro area have attended this field trip since it began in 2006, which combines an educational theme with a Sun Devil women's basketball game.
What to expect at the game:
- Students will witness Sun Devil women's basketball at its best! In addition, our Sun Devil addressor will quiz the audience throughout the game on grade school level topics in subjects such as reading, math, science and geography!
- Mascot basketball! See Sparky and his friends battle it out on the court for a basketball showdown and a special dance contest!
- A fun and educational experience for all!
The date for the 2011-2012 Sun Devil women's basketball field trip is Thursday, January 19 at 11 a.m. Teachers who are interested in reserving tickets may fill out the registration form or by contacting Krista Huffman at 480.727.0200 or the Sun Devil Ticket office at 480.727.0000.
