Standout senior Jared du Toit hot off a seventh-place finish at the Tavistock collegiate, paced the Maroon and Gold signing off on a three-under 69. After making the turn at one-over, the Canuck played the back-nine of the challenging par-72, 7,223-yard Makai Golf Club at three-under, ultimately tallying five birdies to two bogeys on the round. Just four shots off the pace and in tie for eighth, du Toit finds himself contention in a third consecutive outing.

Freshman Alejandro Del Rey Gonzalez recorded a steady even-par 72, positioning himself in a tie for 23rd. Del Rey Gonzalez's freshman counterpart, Anthony Truong, managed an impressive one-over 73. Competing in the event as an individual Truong, sits just outside the top-25 tied for 29th.

Rounding out the Sun Devil lineup freshman Blake Wagoner signed off on three-over 75, junior Tobias Eden collected a six-over 78, and senior Ki Taek Lee closed the round at eight-over 80.

The 54-hole event is slated to resume tomorrow morning with an 11 a.m. (PT) scheduled shotgun start. The Sun Devils paired with Louisville, San Diego, and Colorado State will open the round on holes seven, eight, and nine respectively.
