TEMPE, Ariz.-- Senior punter Matt Haack and redshirt freshman Nick Ralston were both recognized for their work in the classroom Thursday as they received Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Haack, one of the nation's premier punters, was honored for his academic achievement in his study of business and sports media, while Ralston was honored for his success in his study of finance.

Haack and Raslton will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballots where first, second and third team selections take place. The Academic all-America teams will be selected by vote of the Academic All-America committee and CoSIDA Board of Directors. The three teams will be announced later this month. If selected to the All-American Team, Ralston and Haack will become ASU's 118th and 119th selections, respectively.
