The #8 Stanford men are 1-0 in their only countable meet of the season vs. Pacific, 162-82. To finish the fall season at the Texas Invitational, 11 swimmers qualified for NCAA championships including True Sweetser, Patrick Conaton, Matt Anderson, and Andrew Liang.

On the women's side, the #2 Cardinal are 3-0 this season with a dual win at Oregon State and home wins vs. Washington State and Texas. To end 2016, the team also finished first at the Ohio State Invitational in Columbus.

In Windsor at the FINA event over break, Ella Eastin took home two silver medals.

Notably, 2016 Olympic gold medalists Katie Ledecky and Simone Manuel swim for the top-ranked Cardinal.

The nation's top-team, the Cal men earned a 172-52 win in their only dual meet of the season thus far (vs. Pacific to open the season).

On the women's side, also winning the Georgia Invitational, the #6 team in the nation is 3-1 with dual wins over Oregon State, Washington State, and San Jose State. The team's lone loss was in a narrow #5 Texas victory, 152-148 in mid-November.

Over the winter training break, Yuri Suguiyama led a Team USA squad that took home 30 combined medals between the women and men at FINA championships in Canada.
