COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Sophomore Chloe Isleta started the Sun Devils' participation in Texas A&M's Art Adamson Invitational on a high note setting a new ASU school record not once but twice on day one.
 
Isleta broke the 200 IM school record in the morning's prelims, touching the wall at 1:57.45. In the evening's finals session, she re-set the record, swimming the event .07 seconds faster (1:57.38) for a fifth place finish.
 
In the 500 free prelims, Kendall Dawson (4:46.43) and Emma Nordin (4:46.47) finished in the top 15, 13th and 14th, respectively, while Caitlyn Wilson (4:48.36) and Cameron Smith (4:49.95) set new PR's in the event, dropping 5.2 and 4.3 seconds, respectively. Dawson moved up one spot (12th), cutting 1.5 seconds off her morning's time.
 
With the evening's first event, Katherine Wagner, Fanny Teijonsalo, Krista Kolkebeck, and Claire Fisch took fifth in the 200 free relay. Wagner would go on to earn a top-10 finish in the 50 free finals.
 
In the 200 IM finals, Marlies Ross crushed the C final with a 17th place overall finish (1:57.69).
 
Friday's swim events include the 200 medley relay, 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, and 800 free relay, with prelims once again in the morning at 9:30 am CT/8:30 am MT and finals in the evening at 6 pm CT/5 pm MT.

Sun Devil men's and women's diving also kicks off the NAU Lumberjack Invite on Friday, with prelims at 11 am MT and finals at 1:30 pm MT. The women's 1-meter and men's 3-meter will take place Friday.
