There are 3,541 career points in this photo as of Nov. 25, 2017.

Random numbers on @SunDevilHoops, who next play on Saturday, Dec. 2, vs. San Francisco...

.802: Newcomer De'Quon Lake has made 29-of-36 (.802) field goals this year, aided by a 7-2 wingspan on a 6-10 frame. Had he made 30 of 36, he would lead the NCAA, but five makes per game is the minimum.

7: The Sun Devils will try and go 7-0 for the first time Byron Scott, Fat Lever and Alton Lister were dropping buckets in 1980-81.

9 (eventually): The seven-man rotation has help on the way soon. Transfer Mickey Mitchell (6-7 formerly of Ohio State) is eligible Dec. 10, while 6-7 freshman Kimani Lawrence is recovering from a stress fracture and should be available around the holidays. For those that like wingspan, Kimani has a 6-11 one.

11: Coach Hurley has won 36 games at ASU in his three years…11 of them have been when ASU trailed at the half. Included in those wins are this year's Xavier, Kansas State and San Diego State tilts, along with wins over USC (twice) and at Creighton previous two seasons.

50: Tra Holder put up 40 vs. Xavier and 35 vs. UC Irvine, Kodi Justice had 28 vs. Kansas State and Shannon Evans II had 50 in an exhibition game. Yes, it was exhibition game, but 50 is 50.

90: On Nov. 14 ASU dropped 90 on San Diego State (who is playing for Wooden Legacy title today), the first time the Aztecs gave up 90 in regulation since winter of 2006.

95.7: ASU is fourth in the nation in scoring at 95.7 points per game.

Arizona State is another example of why coaches always envy teams with veteran guards. Holder, Evans, & Justice have a combined 11 years of collegiate experience. 6-0.

100: The 100 against Xavier was the first time the Musketeers gave up 100 in regulation since the 1999 Great Alaska Shootout against Kansas. Tra's 40 was the most points by an Xavier opponent since Jimmal Ball (what a great name) of Akron had 44 in 1996-97 game (three overtimes).

126: Many saw the final score of the Xavier win (102-86 if you did not), but some might not have known it was 44-29 X with just over three minutes left in the first half. ASU then scored 73 points in the next 23 minutes, a 126 points-per-40-minute pace.

Wow! Arizona State's Tra Holder hung 40 on Xavier in the Sun Devils' win. Impressive! https://t.co/L5EQ659uVu

3,541: If you love senior guards, ASU has three of them in Shannon Evans II, Tra Holder and Kodi Justice. Those three have combined for 3,451 career points.  They also have made .769 (808-of-1,050) free throws in their career.
