@SunDevilMGolf Signs Pair As Future Is Bright For NCAA Championship Hosting Program@SunDevilMGolf Signs Pair As Future Is Bright For NCAA Championship Hosting Program
The Sun Devil men's golf program has signed two student-athletes who will start playing in the fall of 2018, as Cameron Sisk and Davis Evans are now Sun Devils.

"I'm excited to welcome Davis and Cameron to our team," says Sun Devil head coach Matt Thurmond. "We have all looked forward when we could start talking about them, and now we can talk about all the good they will bring to the program. We don't recruit golfers to be anything but major contributors on our team. We think both of these guys will help us win championships."

It was about 6 years ago I? decided to attend ASU and play for @sundevilmgolf which was the best decision!! Now @DbombDavis and @cameronsisk4 have made the same decision. Enjoy it and Congrats guys!!!

"Davis has excellent golf skills and he's been winning tournaments all his life. He has an explosive ability to make birdies and shoot low scores. He's a passionate Sun Devil who has been committed here for a long time and I'm so happy it's finally official."

"We have a long history of great San Diego players here at ASU. Cameron has a complete all-around game and rarely misses a fairway. He's a very consistent player who can't get enough practice and competition. He has shown he can play successfully all over the country."

Sisk earned AJGA Rolex All-American honorable mention and earned a fourth-place finish at the AJGA Heather Farr Invitational. Evans is a local product who played in the U.S. Junior Amateur at 14 years old.

"I can't wait to be a part of such an accomplished and historic Sun Devil program," says Sisk. "I am really looking forward to working with Coach Thurmond and Coach Kirakossian and competing with a great group of guys. I know they will push me to be the best player I can be and I cannot wait to see what the next four years has in store for me. It is a true honor to officially be a part of the ASU family."
