TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State women's gymnastics team (2-6, 0-3 Pac-12) returns home to Wells Fargo Arena to face the Stanford Cardinal (5-6, 2-2 Pac-12) on Saturday, Feb. 18.
The meet is slated for a 1:00 p.m. MT start and will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. Daron Sutton and Sam Peszek will be on the call.
Saturday is the "Stick it to Cancer Pink Meet." Fans are encouraged to wear the color pink in support.

ABOUT STANFORD
Stanford hit a season high 49.300 on vault but ultimately dropped a 198.125-194.175 loss to UCLA over the weekend. The Cardinal were without junior All-American Elizabeth Price due to injury.
Freshman Aleeza Yu tied for second on vault with a career-high 9.925. Freshman Kaylee Cole and senior Danielle McNair added a pair of 9.875s to hit that season high total 49.300. Stanford got off to a rough start on bars, posting only a 47.625 team total, but McNair was a bright spot in the line-up with a 9.825.
More trouble persisted on floor for the Cardinal and led to a team total 48.375 on the event. However senior Rachel Daum tied her season best with a 9.850. Stanford battled back on beam with five gymnasts hitting a 9.750 or better. Freshman Ashley Tai led the way with a 9.800 while Daum and McNair both hit a 9.775.
LAST TIME OUT
The Gym Devils continue to show improvement in the 2017 season, posting a season-best 195.150 with season-bests on three events as well. The then-No. 17 Washington Huskies ultimately finished on top with a 196.750.
The Gym Devils hit a 49 on floor for the first time this season, counting all five scores at 9.775 or higher. Sophomore Katelyn Lentz hit a season high and tied her career high with a 9.850. Sophomore Justine Callis, junior Nichelle Christopherson, and freshman Mekayla Jones all scored a 9.800, a career high for Jones.
A season-high team score of 48.900 on beam was paced by Christopherson's career-high 9.875. Senior Beka Conrad hit a season-high 9.800 and Lentz and freshman Ashley Szafranski both posted scores of 9.750.
On bars the Gym Devils hit a season-high 48.675. Christopherson led the team with a 9.800, enough for a third place finish and her third score of 9.8+ this season. Szafranski recorded a 9.750 while sophomore Morgan Wilson added a 9.725.
A career-high 9.800 for Wilson on vault contributed to the Gym Devils' 48.550 event total. Freshman Jessica Ginn hit a 9.775 for her Yurchenko full and Lentz scored a 9.700.
In the all-around, Christopherson scored a career-best 39.025 to finish in second behind Washington's Haley Burleson.

ASU is set for another rigorous schedule this year, which will include nine teams that finished in the top-25 in 2016.
The Gym Devils open the 2017 season on the road for the first two weeks at Iowa State on Friday, Jan. 6 and at Denver on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. MT.
The Sun Devils will compete at home five times this season, opening on Saturday, Jan. 21 against UC Davis. ASU will also host meets against three Pac-12 foes in February: reigning conference champion UCLA on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1:30 p.m. MT, Stanford on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1:30 p.m. MT, and Utah on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. MT.
Other 2017 road matches include the Pac-12 opener at California on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. MT, at Washington on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. MT, and the annual rivalry match at Arizona on Sunday, March 5 at 1 p.m. MT.
ASU will cap the home slate and the regular season on Friday, March 10, hosting a tri-meet with Bridgeport and Sacramento State before traveling to Stanford, Calif. for the 2017 Pac-12 Gymnastics Championships on March 18.

Following the conference championship, the then-senior duo of Taylor Allex (vault, floor) and Allie Salas (all-around) qualified to compete as individuals at the NCAA Regional championships. Allex won the vault NCAA Regional title and finished her career at the NCAA Championship.
