TEMPE, Ariz. – After the women's side had their turn last week, the No. 15 Arizona State men's swim and dive teams complete final preparations for the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis this week (Mar. 22-25).

Last season, the Sun Devils qualified seven men's swimmers and divers as well as four relays after only qualifying four men total in the previous eight years. This year, they qualify eight individuals between swimming and diving as well as all five relays.

INDIVIDUAL QUALIFIERS

On the diving side, all three Sun Devil men's divers who competed at NCAA Zone E championships two weeks ago earned qualifying scores for this week's NCAA championships.

Heikki Makikallio will make his second consecutive trip to NCAA's, qualifying in the platform dive, while David Hoffer will compete in the 1-meter and 3-meter and Youssef Selim will compete in 3-meter and platform.

Swimming qualified five individuals in nine different events, led by Pac-12 Swimmer of the Meet Cameron Craig who qualified in three events (200 IM, 100 free, 200 free). Craig's 200 free qualifying time was the second fastest in the nation behind Harvard's Dean Farris, while his 100 free was sixth.

Andrew Porter (45.75) and Tadas Duskinas (45.71) both qualified in the 100 fly, with the 14th and 15th fastest seed times in the nation, while Richard Bohus (100 back/200 back) and Christian Lorenz (100 breast/200 breast) each qualified in two events apiece. Bohus' was the fourth and fifth fastest qualifier, respectively, in his two events while Lorenz was in the top-20 in both.

RELAYS

The Sun Devils earned qualifying standards in all five relays for this weekend's competition in Indianapolis, with the fourth fastest time in the 400 medley and fifth fastest in the 400 free.

Seed times for the five relays are as follows: 200 free (1:17.20), 400 free (2:48.95), 800 free (6:17.44), 200 medley (1:24.08), 400 medley (3:03.63).
