Arizona State senior Jared du Toit has earned second-team Pac-12 All-Academic honors, as the Kimberley, British Columbia, product graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and a 3.38 grade point average.

Named captain in the fall, du Toit notched eight top-10 finishes on the year, including five top-five finishes and medalist honors at The Prestige at PGA West after losing the previous tournament in a playoff at the Amer Ari Invitational. He finished his season with a 70.38 stroke average in 27 career events (83 rounds) that included a 13 top-10 finishes and six top-five finishes. The Kimberley, British Columbia, product earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors this year.

He was named the 2016 Male Amateur of the Year by Canadian Golf Journalists and the 2015-16 Pacific Northwest Golf Assocation Player of the Year, as he notched a top-10 finish at the 2016 RBC Canadian Open. He collected a 72-hole total 9-under 279 (67-71-70-71), to earn low-amateur honors becoming the first Canuck Amateur to record a top-10 finish at Canada's coveted championship since Doug Bajus in 1954.

He earned GCAA and Golfweek Honorable Mention All-America honors in 2015-16 with five top-10 finishes.
