TEMPE, Ariz. – Eight Arizona State wrestlers are competing this weekend (June 2-4) at UWW University Nationals, held at the Louis and Freda Stile Athletic Field House on the campus of the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
Held in conjunction with the UWW Cadet Nationals, competition starts each day at 9 am ET and features some of the top collegiate wrestlers.
Sun Devils in competition this weekend includes 2017 All-American Tanner Hall, 2014 NCAA champion Jason Tsirtsis, 2017 Pac-12 champions Josh Maruca and Josh Shields, as well as Jacen Petersen, Christian Pagdilao, Nikko Villarreal, and Cory Crooks.
Zahid and Anthony Valencia are noticeably missing from this weekend's lineup as they prepare for UWW and US Team Trials next weekend.
