TEMPE, Ariz. – In honor of Arizona State Hall of Fame coach Frank Kush, Sun Devil Athletics will dedicate the home match-up against San Diego State on Saturday, Sept. 9 to the legendary coach.

Leading up to the game, ASU and the football team plans to honor Kush in several ways.

Starting on Thursday, July 20, an ASU flag will be accessible for fans to sign on the first floor of the Carson Student-Athlete Center by Sparky's Stadium Shop through Friday, July 28. The Stadium Shop is open Monday thru Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The team will transport the flag to Camp Tontozona, where the team captains and head coach Todd Graham will hike it up Mount Kush and plant it in the ground with a moment of silence.

During Kush's tenure, the legendary coach finished practice at Camp T with the players hiking up the steep hill to the west of the practice field in full pads and helmets, thus the naming of Mt. Kush.

To this day, players, coaches and staff make the annual hike up Mt. Kush at Camp T.

Prior to the start of Saturday's practice at Camp T, a moment of silence will be held by the team and fans in attendance for coach Kush.

Less than 10 seats remain for the annual Camp T Turnaround Trip. Secure one of the final tickets here.
