CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The reigning national champion Arizona State women's golf team earned five spots on the Women's Collegiate Golf Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars list, as announced by the association on Wednesday.

Roberta Liti, Monica Vaughn, Olivia Mehaffey, Madison Kerley, and Sophia Zeeb earned academic accolades from the WGCA.

Arizona State had the third most honorees among all Division I institutions this season, tied for most among the Power Five conferences. ASU also led the Pac-12 with its five honorees.

Some of the most stringent criteria in college athletics, student-athletes must have a cumulative 3.50 GPA or higher to be named to the All-American Scholar Team.

The Sun Devils also earned five spots on the Pac-12 All-Academic teams with Vaughn and Liti named to the First Team, Zeeb to the Second Team, and Kerley and Linnea Strom to Honorable Mention.

The program caps a historic year in which they captured both the NCAA team title as well as the national individual championship (Vaughn).

For the feat, Vaughn earned multiple accolades including the Honda Award for Golf, Pac-12 Golfer of the Year, WGCA First Team All-American, CoSIDA Second Team Academic All-District, Female Pac-12 Tom Hansen Medal of Honor Recipient, and more.

Head coach Missy Farr-Kaye was named WGCA and Golfweek National Coach of the Year, as well as WGCA Regional COY and Pac-12 COY.

A continued sign of upward progression for the programs, Arizona State recently announced it will host the men's and women's NCAA championships for three straight seasons (2020-22) at Grayhawk Golf Club.
