TEMPE, Ariz. – Recent transfer Fanny Teijonsalo (Finland) and Tadas Duskinas (Lithuania), who completed his eligibility for the Sun Devils in 2017, will represent both their home countries and Arizona State swimming at this week's World University Games in Taipei, Taiwan.

Duskinas (50/100 fly) was part of the Pac-12 champion 400 free relay team in 2017 for ASU, earning All-American honors in the same event as well as Honorable Mention All-American accolades in the 400 medley relay. During the regular season, he earned two victories in the 50 free as a senior (Oct. 21 at Utah, Oct. 29 vs. Denver) as well as two in the 100 fly (Oct. 22 at BYU, Jan. 20 vs. Stanford). He completed his ASU career with three top-10 all-time 100 free records and was part of all five top-five 400 free relay times, as well as two top-five times in the 200 medley relay and three in the 400 medley relay.

Teijonsalo (50/100 fly/back/free) joins the Sun Devil women's team after two seasons at Florida Gulf Coast where she earned CSCAA All-American status as a sophomore as part of the school record-breaking 200 free relay at the 2017 NCAA Swimming Championships. Also in 2016-17, she was named a CSCAA First Team Scholar All-American and won a Central Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) championship with her 200 free relay team. As a freshman, she set a new school record in the 100 fly and new conference record in the 200 IM and was part of four conference champion relay teams.
