    Sun Devil Men's Swimming and Diving Team Falls to Hawai'i 158.5-141.5

    Honolulu - The Sun Devil men fell to the University of Hawai'i 158.5-141.5 this Friday. Senior All American CJ Nuess had a strong showing for the Sun Devils by placing first in the 1000 free (9:28.52), the 400 IM (4:00.25) and the 500 free (4:32.53).

    Sophomore Ante Cvitkovic clocked in 50.91 to clinch first place in the 100 back and clocked in 1:52.94 in the 200 back. Senior co-captain Steve Neuwert took first in the 100 free (45.49) and the 50 free (20.40).

    The Sun Devils also finished first in the 200 medley and 200 free relays. The team of Cvitkovic, John Dwelley, Magnus Kjellberg and Mohammed Madwa clocked in a time of 1:34.53 in the 200 medley while the line up of Neuwert, Madwa, Kjellberg and Cvitkovic finished the 200 free relay in a time of 1:22.90.

    All American Micky Benedetti placed second in both the 1 meter and 3 meter earning scores of 311.85 and 363.00 respectively.

    The Sun Devils and the Warriors go head to head again tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. HT.
