    Trisha Tumlinson Named Pac-10 Diver of the Month

    WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Arizona State University diver Trisha Tumlinson has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Women's Diver of the Month for December, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced Wednesday.

    Tumlinson, a senior from Spring, Texas, attained a personal best score of 471.80 on the platform at the University of Texas Invitational on Dec. 2-4, good for second place in the event. She also took second in the one-meter springboard with a score of 303.10 and third in the three-meter springboard (490.30).

    The 2003-2004 Pac-10 Diver of the Year, Tumlinson earned first team All-America honors on the platform last year.

    This is the first monthly honor for Tumlinson, and Arizona State's first Diver of the Month all-time.
