    Sun Devil Swimmers Wrap Up US Open Competition

    INDIANAPOLIS—Arizona State swimmers Shannon Landgrebe, Tristin Baxter and incoming transfer Taylor Wohrley wrapped up the US Open Swimming Championships, Saturday, in Indianapolis, Ind.

    On Friday in the 200 free finals, Landgrebe finished 24th overall with a time of 2:04.24 in the event. Baxter also competed in the 200 free but only swam in the preliminaries, finishing 15th with a time 2:03.38 before heading back to Arizona before the finals. A backstroke specialist, Wohrley took 11th in the 100 back finals on Friday night with a time of 1:02.45.

    On Saturday, Landgrebe rounded out the competition finishing 34th in the women’s 50 free with a time of 26.72.
