2013 NCAA Track and Field Preliminary Rounds Announced
The Sun Devils will have 40 entries total in Austin next week, 20 on the men's side and 20 on the women's.
Arizona State: 2013: Finished second in the 400 (48.14) and 4x4 (3:14.13) at the 2013 Lumberjack Team Challenge...Won the 2013 Baldy Castillo Invitational 400 with a time of 46.66...Won the 4x4 (3:11.28) and 400 (47.94) at the 2013 ASU Invitational...Finished first at the 34th Sun Angel Classic 4x1 with a time of 39.65...Finished second at the LSU Battle at the Bayou in the 4x1 (39.69) and 4x4 (3:06.80)...Finished first in the 4x4 (3:08.14) and 4x1 (39.40) at the ASU-UA-NAU Tri-Dual...Won the 4x1 with a time of 39.41 at the Pac-12 Track & Field Championships...Finished fifth in the 4x1 (39.75) at the NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round...Finished ninth at the NCAA Division I National Championships in the 4x1 with a time of 39.44...
2012 Outdoor: Advanced to the NCAA Division I Championships in the 200m and as a member of the 4x400m relay team... placed fifth in the 100m and 200m at the Pac-12 Championships with a wind-aided and personal best mark of 10.35 in the 100m and 20.74 time for the 200m... also competed as a member of the first place 4x400m and 4x100m relay teams at the Pac-12 Championships... ran a personal best time of 46.66 in the 400m at the Baldy Castillo Invitational that earned him second place... clocked a career bestin the 200m ath the Tri-Meet with a second place time of 20.65... tagged eight top five finishes not including relays... 2012 Indoor: Competed in the Iowa State Qualifier in the 200 to finish fourth in the 200m with a time of 21.52... placed second overall at the MPSF Championships in the 200m clocking a time of 21.19 while also running as a member of the second place 4x400m relay team... finished seventh at the Texas A&M Challenge in the 60m and fourth in the 200m... clocked a career best 60m time at the New Mexico Don Kirby Elite of 6.76...
