Sun Devil T&F Shines at Home on Saturday
Arizona State won 10 events over the course of the weekend at the ASU Invitational.
Arizona State: 2012 Outdoor: Competed in the 400m in only two events placing in eighth and third...her third place finish at the Arizona State Invitational tied her career fastest time of 56.10... 2011 Outdoor: aWas a member of the 4x400m relay team that competed at the NCAA Division I Championships and finished 13th overall... ran with the 4x400m relay to place second at the 53rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays in a season's best time of 3:33.22... Placed eight in the 400m hurdles at the Sun Angel Classic with a career best time of 1:00.58 as well as run with the 4x400m relay to place second at the same event...2011 Indoor: Advanced to the finals at the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships as a member of the 4x400m relay team that placed twelfth overall... Ran a season's best time on the 4x400-meter relay of 3:33.72 at the Iowa State Last Chance Meet... Helped the relay team to a third-place finish at the MPSF Championships while also posting a season's best time of 56.10 in the 400-meter dash to finsih eighth overall...
High School: A 2010 graduate of Horizon High School (Scottsdale, Ariz.)... lettered four times in track & field... two-time state champion (2009, 2010) and one-time runner-up (2008) in the 300m hurdles... Arizona Republic All-Arizona Honorable Mention in the 300m hurdles... holds the school record in the 300m hurdles (44.61) and the heptathlon (3,905 points), both set as a senior... member of the National Honor Society, National Merit Commended Scholar and Scholar-Athlete Award winner.
