Numerous members of the ASU track and field team posted impressive marks on Saturday at Sun Angel Stadium
Arizona State: 2011 Outdoor: Competed in the preliminary round at the NCAA Division I West Championships as a member of the 4x100m relay squad where the team finished 10th overall... ran in the 200m and the 100m at the PAC-10 Championships where she ran her collegiate career best time of 11.85 in the 100m... was a member of the 4x100m relay team that seized first at the 53rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays where she also competed in the 100m and 200m... took seventh place in two events at the 32nd Sun Angel Track Classic with a time of 24.70 in the 200m and 12.26 in the 100m... 2011 Indoor: Placed 12th overall at 200 meters at the the MPSF Championships while also competing in the 60m dash...
High School: A 2010 graduate of Rancho Verde High School (Moreno Valley, Calif.)... lettered four times in track & field and captained the team as a senior... was the teammate of Alycia Herring at RVHS, who also is a member of the Sun Devils this season... Gooden and Herring helped the 4x100m relay win the state title... three times named First Team All-Inland Valley... also a three-time all-league selection... school record holder in the 100m dash (11.56)...
