National Championship Bids on the Line for ASU Cross Country
Men's and women's teams both on the bubble as the team heads to NCAA West Region Championships in Palo Alto, Calif., this weekend.
Arizona State: 2012 XC: Placed third at the Grand Canyon Invitational posting a time of 23:25.6...
High School: A 2011 graduate of Enterprise High School (Redding, Calif.)... lettered four times each in cross country and track & field... served as a team captain in both sports... posted times in three different events as a senior that ranked among the Top 30 nationally, including the No. 8 time in the 3,000m run at 8:29.52... ran 8:59.58 in the 3,200m (No. 26) and 4:10.54 in the 1,600m (No. 28)... captured section and league titles on the track... also named all-league and all-section... selected for academic honors as well... holds three records three EHS records, including the 800m, 1600m and 3200m runs.
Personal: Majoring in kinesiology... parents are Sal D'Acquisto and Aimee Kizziar... has six siblings: brothers Ben and Danny and sisters Allie, Sydnee, Josie and Graziella... born September 4, 1992, in Chico, Calif.... hobbies include landscaping... full name is Domenico Leonardo D'Acquisto.
