No. 16 ASU Baseball Hosts Final Home Games Of 2012 Season
The Sun Devils take on Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday
Baseball Bloodlines: Beau's brother Drew was a two-year star for the Sun Devils in 2009 and 2010.
2012 (Sophomore): Started 23 games as the team's Saturday catcher...hit his first career home run, a three-run shot, in an 8-4 win over Washington on May 19...had a season-high three hits to go with two RBI in his first game of the season, a win over Western Michigan on Feb. 18...had five multi-hit games and put together a five-game hitting streak.
2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in three games, going 0-2 with a walk.
2010 (Freshman): Utilized his redshirt season.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Brophy College Prep in Phoenix...lettered in both baseball and football..team captain in both sports...was an All-Region selection in baseball.
Personal: An exploratory major...son of Craig and Sara Maggi of Phoenix...has six siblings: Craig, Taryn, Drew, Joe, Christian and Dane...Drew played for ASU in 2009 and 2010 and is currently in the Pittsburgh Pirates system...lists The Godfather as his favorite movie and Seinfeld as his favorite TV show...says Kevin Youkilis is his favorite athlete...born November 11, 1990 in Phoenix...full name is Beau Giuseppe Maggi.
