Aplin Pushes No. 14 ASU Baseball Past UNLV On His Birthday
The Sun Devils retired 21 straight batters, pitched six consecutive scoreless innings
Junior College: Played for Yavapai College in 2011...appeared in 18 games, recording a 7-2 record...threw 79.0 innings and had a 2.50 ERA...fanned 86 batters while walking 18...was an All-Conference and All-Region selection.
2010 (New Mexico): Spent the 2010 season as a redshirt for the New Mexico Lobos.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Elgin Park Secondary School in Surrey, British Columbia...earned four letters in baseball, hockey and volleyball, two in golf and one in basketball...was a team captain in baseball, hockey and volleyball...was twice named All-Conference in baseball...earned league Pitcher of the Year and league Most Valuable Player honor in 2009 as well as school's Student-Athlete of the Year..was the Student Body President during his senior year...was selected in the third round of the WHL draft by the Chilliwack Bruins as a defenceman.
