TEMPE, Ariz. - The 2010 Sun Devil baseball team beat the Alumni baseball team 10-6 in the Alumni Game at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark.

Kole Calhoun paced the current Devils with two hits, including a monster two-run home run in the first inning. Zack MacPhee, Zach Wilson, Riccio Torrez and Xorge Carrillo all had two hits, while Matt Newman had three hits and an RBI.

Former Sun Devils playing for the Alumni team included Matt Spencer, Ike Davis, Andrew Romine, Tim Smith, Jason Kipnis, Petey Paramore, Anthony Manahan, Rocky Laguna, Garrett Schoenberger, Dennis Wyrick, Dan Rumsey, Doug Schutt, Bob Dombrowski, Nick Walsh, Joe Persichina, Ryan Sontag and Brody Stevens. Colin Curtis and Bill Schorr each had two-run homers for the Alumni.

Arizona State opens up the 2010 season on Friday, February 19 against Northern Illinois at Packard Stadium.
