Arizona State University head baseball coach Tim Esmay has announced Arizona State’s recruiting class for the 2013 season. The Sun Devils have signed 22 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent, 21 from high school and one from Junior College. The signees will join the baseball program for the 2012-13 school year and the 2013 baseball season. The signing class includes students from eight different states, one from Canada and eight from Arizona.

“I cannot say enough about the effort that my coaching staff has put in to sign this outstanding class,” said head coach Tim Esmay. “With (recruiting coordinator and associate head coach) Travis Jewett leading the way, we have put together a class that will continue to uphold the tradition and legacy of Sun Devil Baseball. Coach Jewett has made a strong commitment to recruit not only nationally but also in the State of Arizona, and this class demonstrates that perfectly.”

The signing class has been ranked in the top five nationally by Perfect Game USA, one of the top baseball scouting services in the country.
