2010-11 (FRESHMAN YEAR AT HAWAII)
Averaged 6.9 ppg, tops among freshman...one of only two players on the team to appear in all 32 games... started eight contests...second on the team in three-pointers made (57) and percentage (.388)...made more three-point field goals than any freshman in school history...buried at least five three pointers in a game on four separate occasions...started collegiate career with a bang, scoring 19 points in consecutive games off the bench in wins over Montana State (Nov. 12) and Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 13)...named to the Rainbow Classic All-Tournament team...14 points on four three-pointers in win over Central Arkansas (Nov. 19)...17 points and five rebounds in 37 minutes off the bench against Chicago State (Dec. 17)...17 points, including five three-pointers, against Florida State (Dec. 22)...12 points on four three-pointers vs. Fresno State (Jan. 20) to break out of three-game scoreless slump...scored key nine second-half points, all on three-pointers, in win at Boise State (Feb. 3)...12 points and four rebounds in win at San Jose State (March 3).

A 2009 graduate at Scottsdale Christian...In 2008-09 at Scottsdale, Barnes 19.2 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 3.2 apg...was deadly accurate from the floor, shooting 60 percent from the field (220-367)...drained 71 3-pointers on the season, hitting an astonishing 55 percent from beyond the arc...he scored in double-digits in all 31 games, including 36 points in the season finale...led Scottsdale to a 28-3 record as a senior...was the MVP of the Horizon Invitational, a holiday tournament Scottsdale Christian won by defeating three schools at least three classifications higher....earned all-region honors and was the league player of the year while at Scottsdale...attended post-graduate school at Westwind Prep International in Phoenix, Ariz...averaged 17.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in his one season at Westwind...also averaged 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game...named to the all-tournament team at the NPSI in Rhode Island and helped team advance to the National Prep Championship, where they competed against the top eight post-graduate teams in the country
