    WE ALL SAW THIS COMING
Arizona State (14-2; 3-0) and Oregon are two of the unbeatens headed towards the weekend in Pac-12 play and they meet Sunday at 6 p.m. PT/7 p.m. MT in Eugene on the Pac-12 Networks. Oregon has won 17 straight at Matt Knight Arena, a place where the Sun Devils have yet to visit. ASU won the final game at McArthur Court on Jan. 1, 2011 and ASU and UA missed this trip last year, so only Carrick Felix, Ruslan Pateev and Jordan Bachynski can remember the historic Mac Court.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME ASU WAS 14-2? 3-0?
ASU joined the Pac-10 in 1978-79, and you can count on one hand without a thumb the number of times it has been 3-0 in 35 seasons prior to this year: 1979-80 (5-0), 1987-88 (4-0) and 2007-08 (4-0). Want another eyebrow raiser? ASU is 14-2 for the third time in 33 seasons, as the 1980-81 team went 19-2 but since then only the 2007-08 and 2008-09 teams started 14-2 (led by the Beard). ASU will try and go 15-2 for the first time since 1980-81 on Sunday at Oregon.

    THAT BLOCK STAT UPDATED
Opponents have taken 985 shots. ASU has 124 blocks. That means ASU blocks one of every 7.9 opponent shots...junior Jordan Bachynski, with 73 blocks, is 42 blocks short of the Pac-12 record of 115 set by Sun Devil Mario Bennett in 1994-95...Bachynski has 134 career blocks, sixth in Sun Devil history, and with three more blocks Jordan will pass Ike Diogu (75 in 2004-05) on the single season list...ASU's 124 blocks is already seventh in school history. Next up on the list is the sixth spot with 139 in 2003. The school record is a reachable 172 in 1996-97.

    CARRICK IN THE RANKINGS
Carrick has scored in double-digits in 15 straight games, tied for league lead with Brock Motum. He currently ranks eighth in the league in scoring (15.3 ppg.), seventh in rebounding (7.3), seventh in field goal percentage (.549), fifth (tie) in steals (1.7), eighth in three-point percentage (.393) and eighth (tie) in blocks (1.4). He is the only player listed among top-10 in scoring and rebounding.

    THIS IS EYE-OPENING
Carrick ranks seventh in the league in field goal shooting at .549 (96-of-175) including 22-of-56 (.393) from the three-point stripe, which is eighth in the league. Pretty solid right? With all due respect to the big men in slots 1-7 (including Jordan), Carrick's numbers get the wow effect when you realize that he has taken 56 three-pointers, and the guys in the top seven have taken a total of...10.

    FIND SOMEONE PLAYING BETTER
Senior Carrick Felix (B.S., Communications 2012) matched a career-high with 14 rebounds vs. Oregon State. In the past 13 games he is averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, has 20 blocks and is shooting 83-of-147 (.565) from the field and 19-of-47 (.404) from the three-point stripe...after not having a double-double in the first 65 career games he posted them in back-to-back games with 11 points and 11 boards vs. Hartford (Dec. 5) and 21 points/12 boards vs. Sacramento St. (Dec. 1) and now has five in the past 10 games after 17 points and 13 rebounds vs. Utah on Jan. 2 and 18 and 10 vs. Oregon State on Jan. 10. He has now scored in double-digits in 15 straight games.

    JAHII
With 20 points and four assists at Oregon State, freshman Jahii Carson is averaging 16.9 points and 5.3 assists per game, just shy of a pretty solid note. No freshman has averaged 17 points and five assists in a season since Shaheen Holloway of Seton Hall in 1996-97 (17.3/6.3)...has led or shared the team lead in scoring in 10 games this season...has 85 assists, on pace for 150 which has been done by just 11 freshmen at Pac-12 schools...vs. Creighton he became fourth Sun Devil freshman to score 30...six 20-point games (30 vs. No. 14 Creighton, 21 vs. CS Northridge and Cornell, 20 at Oregon State and vs. Hartford and Florida A&M) already is fourth-best among ASU freshmen...averaging 36.1 minutes per game, best mark by a Sun Devil freshman in history (the Beard averaged 34.1 in 2007-08)...16.9 points per game is second in ASU freshman history only to the Beard (17.8) and Ike Diogu (19.0 in 2002-03)...36.1 minutes per game is third in the nation for freshman and leads the Pac-12. No other Pac-12 freshman is averaging more than 32 minutes per game.

    BACK TO NORMAL
ASU has had less turnovers than its opponent in six of the past nine games and in the past 10 games is averaging 11.1 turnovers per tilt. In the first six games they were at 15.5 turnovers per game.

    REBOUNDS
ASU had a season-high 49 rebounds vs. Oregon State, the most since it had 49 vs. Houston Baptist on Nov. 10, 2010, in the Great Alaska Shootout.
