    ASU: A three year starter going into his redshirt senior year he has played in 35 games, starting 34...has played both left tackle and right guard...he leads the entire team with 34 career starts... has continued to show his explosiveness off the line throughout his career, while his outstanding athleticism has protected the blindside for Brock Osweiler, (now with the Denver Broncos), Steven Threat and Taylor Kelly...during his collegiate career, he has successfully defended the blind side against top NFL draft picks DE's like JJ Watt (Wisconsin/RD 1-Green Bay Packers), Cameron Jordon (Cal/RD 1-Baltimore Ravens), Star Lotulelei (Utah/RD 1-Carolina Panthers), Dion Jordan (Oregon/ RD 1-Miami Dolphins) and Stephen Paea (Oregon State/RD 2-Chicago Bears)...Evan graduated in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication with a Sociology Minor and was accepted into Graduate School for the 2013-14 season.

    2012: Started all 13 games...his leadership and solid technical skills earned him the 2012 Randall McDaniel Outstanding Offensive Lineman Award at the annual team banquet...he was also honored by ESPN with being named to the 2012 Pac-12 All-Bowl Team after ASU won the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl game in San Francisco AT&T Park...he was also honored with making the 2012 All-Pac-12 Team Honorable Mention Award...he possesses intelligence and agility that allows him to successfully defend against multiple rush attacks into the backfield, making a defensive tackle against Oregon, as well as pulling for running plays on a downfield touchdown by running back Marion Grice against UCLA.

    2011:Continued to provide great constancy while learning under a veteran offensive line...will be expected to help tutor a young line in 2012...Had double digits starts for the second year in a row...had to sit out three games due to a knee injury suffered in win against Oregon State

    2010: Saw action in all 12 games this season...started a streak of 11 straight games beginning Sept 11. vs Northern Arizona...earned Hard Hat player recognition for his work in ASU's offseason strength and conditioning program.

    2009: Redshirted, spending the season as a member of the scout team.

    HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Tesoro High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif...athletic, versatile lineman with tremendous upside...switched to offensive tackle late in his high school career after seeing action at tight end...runs a 4.9 40-yard dash...helped guide Tesoro to the South Coast championship and the CIF-SS Pac-5 finals in 2008...was also a pitcher on Tesoro's baseball team...rated as the No. 48 offensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com...listed as the No. 96 overall prospect in the state of California and the state's No. 7 offensive tackle prospect by Scout.com...also regarded by Scout.com as the No. 13 offensive tackle in the West region...earned First-Team All-CIF, First-Team All-Orange County and First-Team All-League honors as a senior...before switching to offensive line, he caught five passes for 74 yards and collected 31 rushing yards as a junior in 2007...chose ASU over Colorado and Washington State, and also received interest from Boise State, California, Oregon State and Tennessee...verbally committed to the Sun Devils on Jan. 26, 2009...coached by Brian Barnes at Tesoro High School...National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete Award recipient...was a pitcher on Tesoro's Varsity baseball team and broke numerous school records for the most scoreless innings pitched (23), strikeouts in a season and complete games...earned All-South Coast League honors as a pitcher...pitched for the Tampa Bay Devil Ray's scout team.
